Terms of Sale

All items are guaranteed as described and are subject to prior sale. 

We carefully grade our books in accordance with IOBA Book Condition Definitions and describe them using standard ABAA terminology. As members of the Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America, we adhere to that association’s Code of Ethics.

Payment

Payment is accepted via Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, bank draft/cashier's check, or wire transfer. Orders with destinations outside the U.S. will require wire transfer; items will ship once transfer has completed. All sales are in U.S. dollars. Items purchased and shipped within the State of Indiana will incur a sales tax of 7%. We will bill libraries and institutions on 30 day terms with a purchase order number. Traditional courtesy to the trade.

Shipping

All items are physically in our possession and will normally ship within 48 hours, securely packaged to a very high standard to prevent damage in transit. Within the U.S., we ship USPS Media Mail or Priority. Tracking number provided. Shipping charges are based on items weighing 2.2 lbs. or 1 kg. Orders with destinations outside the U.S., expedited shipments, oversized/heavy items or sets will require an update of shipping charges before the sale is completed, as will additional insurance against loss or damage. Any adjustments will be subject to the buyer’s approval.

Returns

In the unlikely event of a purchase proving unsatisfactory, the item may be returned, in its original condition, for a full refund limited to the original price paid. We would ask that you notify us by email of your intention to return within 10 working days of receipt of the item. Safe return shipment is the client's responsibility. We will issue reimbursement within 14 days of receiving the item back. We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value, if the loss resulted from unnecessary handling by the client.
