Prefaced in Vol. I by "What The War Means to America" by Major General Leonard Wood; U.S.A.; "Naval Lessons of the War" by Rear Admiral Austin M. Knight, U.S.N.; "The World's War" by Frederick Palmer; "Theatres of the War's Campaign" by F.H. Simonds and "The War Correspondent" by Arthur Ruhl.
