Huckleberry and his three brothers were born on a farm outside of Canaan, Indiana. His Ma was a border-collie and his Pa was a beagle from the next farm over. While Huck lives with Sean, he, like Sean, spends much of his time at the bookstore. He enjoys long walks around town, chewing on sticks, chasing his tail, and getting belly-rubs from doting bookstore patrons. Some of his recommended reads include The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain, Inside of a Dog by Alexandra Horowitz, I Could Chew on This: And Other Poems by Dogs by Francesco Marciulano, and How to Sit by Thich Nhat Hanh.
