Robert Stark, Intern

A sophomore at Southwestern High School in Hanover, Indiana, Robert is a voracious reader of fiction, an aspiring composer of music, and an enthusiastic bookstore intern. He harbors a passion for science fiction, but is by no means limited to this. His father, a Professor of Theatre at Hanover College, has instilled in him a profound love of things thespian, particularly Shakespeare. Robert enjoys writing science fiction of a philosophical nature, drama and romance of a pessimistic nature, and comedy of a black nature... his writings rarely feature happy endings.

Robet's favorite books include Dune by Frank Herbert, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams, Ubik by Philip K. Dick, and 2001: A Space Odyssey by Arthur C. Clarke. His favorite plays include Shakespeare’s Hamlet and A Midsummer Night's Dream. His favorite composers include Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Satie, and Debussy.
